Job Description: Software Support Specialist

                        A typical day consists of the following:


  • Answering support calls from clients; resolving and documenting their issues.
  • Making proactive calls to clients to follow up on previous issues or to update our contact information.
  • Researching other software knowledge bases, typically word processor, antivirus, firewall, or plug-ins, regarding conflict issues.
  • Software Testing
  • Working on a variety of internal projects.

Qualifications: Candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Must be a self starter, a team player, and a natural at learning new software.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Above average verbal and communication skills.
  • Well versed in the use of the Windows OS
  • General understanding of Microsoft Word and Corel WordPerfect
  • General understanding of client/server application architecture
  • General understanding of Lan enviornments
