Using Prevail for Miscellaneous Cases

The Miscellaneous law type is a catch-all for any matters you may have that don’t fall into any of the typical areas of law that you practice. You can create as many case types as you’d like that fall under the Miscellaneous umbrella. For example, you might create a Contract Review case type if you occasionally review simple contracts for clients. Or, if you refer certain types of cases to other attorneys, and you want to track those cases for referral fee purposes, you could create a “Referred Out” case type under the Miscellaneous law type.

The Miscellaneous law type includes a “Case Description” field.
