Prevail 3.92 will NOT work with Microsoft Word 2010 (at this time). Prevail 4.x old merge WILL work with Microsoft Word 2010 - ensure your Prevail is set to use "Office XP/2003/2007" Prevail 4.x new merge WILL work with Microsoft Word 2010 - again, ensure your Prevail is set to use "Office XP/2003/2007". Prevail 5.x merge (which is new merge, since no alternative merge engine is available) WILL work with Microsoft Word 2010. Prevail 6.x merge (again, new merge) will work with Microsoft Word 2010. Preliminary findings are that you will have to add TRUSTED LOCATIONS in order to merge without issue. Click FILE, OPTIONS. Trust Center, Trust Center Settings, and under the trusted locations: ADD A NEW LOCATION. Add the network path (e.g: serverprevail) and the Prevail Client Folder (c:prevail or c:prevail_Client). Select "Allow Trusted Locations on My Network". When adding a new location ensure that "Subfolders of this location are also trusted". |
