There are occasions when Antivirus products (which often come with integrated firewall functionality) can cause issues with the Prevail case management software.   They can block ADS traffic, and even though the service might appear to be disabled, because it bounds as a service to your network card it can still block network traffic.   Some antivirus software is particularly difficult to remove.

The following vendors have provided uninstall methods for their AV/FW software:

This should only be used for diagnostic purposes, in NO WAY should your Antivirus software be permanently removed.
