The easy answer is to turn off the Document map view. Document map is 'sticky' which means it stays on for all new documents. If the document that you are opening doesn't contain any index, table of contents or table of authorities entries Wordperfect won't be able to display a document map for that document. Hence, the error message. Choose View, Document Map or Press ALT, Shift and M to turn Document Map off. |
